Mobile App Development
Apps that feel native and survive offline
Mobile app development is designing and building an app your customers or staff install on their phones. Criza builds one cross-platform codebase for iOS and Android, which suits businesses that need offline access, push notifications or a faster experience than a website can give.
What's included
Android and iOS from one codebase
One implementation, both stores, with platform-specific behaviour handled where it matters rather than duplicated wholesale.
Cross-platform delivery
Flutter and React Native selected for fit — animations and consistency, or JavaScript ecosystem and shared logic with your web app.
Offline-first data
Local storage, a sync queue and conflict rules so records captured without signal reach the server cleanly once it returns.
Push notifications
Meaningful, segmented notifications with deep links into the right screen — and the ability to switch them off.
API integration
Authentication, payments, maps, camera, storage and the rest of the native capabilities wired to your existing back end.
Maintenance and releases
OS updates, dependency upgrades and store releases handled so the app does not quietly rot after launch.
What you receive
Written scope
- Screen flows and prototype for review
- The app built for both platforms
- Back-end or API layer where needed
- Store listings, assets and submission support
- Crash reporting and analytics
- Post-launch fixes and update plan
Agreed in writing before any work starts.
How long it takes and what it costs
How long does it take?
Depends on scope. You get a written milestone schedule with your quote, and a realistic estimate rather than one designed to win the job.
What does it cost?
Fixed quote after a free 30-minute call. Cross-platform delivery means each future feature is built once rather than twice.
The problems this fixes
A website squeezed into an app
Navigation, gestures and loading states that ignore platform conventions make an app feel broken even when it works.
Field teams without signal
Warehouses, sites and vehicles are exactly where connectivity fails, and exactly where the work needs recording.
Store submission surprises
Privacy declarations, screenshots, review rejections and versioning turn a finished build into weeks of delay.

Frequently asked questions
Should we build native or cross-platform?
Cross-platform covers the large majority of business apps and halves the cost of every future feature. We recommend native only when the product depends on heavy camera, AR, Bluetooth or low-level performance work.
Do you handle App Store and Play Store submission?
Yes — listings, screenshots, privacy declarations and the review back-and-forth. You own the developer accounts; we prepare and submit under them.
Can the app work offline?
Yes, and for field apps we design it that way from the start: local storage, a queue for changes made offline, and rules for resolving conflicts when two devices edit the same record.
What happens after launch?
We support a warranty window for fixes, then an optional monthly plan covering OS updates, dependency upgrades, store releases and small changes.
