Founders & team

Two engineers, no layers between

Criza is led by its two co-founders. They take the first call, write the code and answer the message you send six months after launch.

Meet the founders

What follows is all checkable. Where we link to work, you can read the code yourself.

The full-stack and AI side of Criza

Abrar builds across the whole product, from the database and APIs to the interface, and increasingly the AI systems that sit between them.

Abrar began with client backend work in 2022, moved to full-stack engineering as an independent developer in 2023, and has carried on taking real projects through to delivery while completing a master's degree in computer applications.

The public work shows the same interest repeatedly: systems with hard problems inside them. They include a pipeline that analyses recorded interviews across speech, audio and video, a B2B textile marketplace, and a file system built on top of GitHub.

Also a software developer intern at Infiposts Pvt Ltd.

  • AI features and automation workflows
  • Scoping projects with clients, and support after launch

The backend and systems side of Criza

Akbarali is a backend-focused software engineer working in Java and Spring Boot, concerned with what keeps a product reliable once real people depend on it.

Akbarali's work centres on the parts of a product most people never see: APIs, data models, authentication and the systems behind them. The engineering interests are consistent across the public work, from system design and database optimisation to caching and API design.

That focus shows in the projects, which take on operational problems: testing every endpoint of an API as each type of user, and rescheduling a machine shop's production when a machine breaks down.

Works as a backend developer, with Infiposts Pvt. Ltd. listed on Akbarali's public profile.

Who you actually talk to

A typical agency project

  1. You
  2. Account manager
  3. Project manager
  4. Developer

A Criza project

  1. You
  2. The founder writing your code

There is no account manager and no separate build team. The person who scopes your project is the person writing it, which removes the most common source of misunderstandings in software work.

Practically, that means a direct channel for questions, written updates when something changes, and technical answers from someone who can act on them immediately.

It also means we take on a limited number of projects at a time. If we are not the right fit, or the timing is wrong, we will say so before you spend anything.

Have a project in mind?

Tell us what you need. The first 30-minute call is free, and you get a fixed quote and an honest view of whether we are the right fit. We reply within 24 hours, usually sooner.
