Fintech
Financial software where correctness is the feature
Fintech software covers payment flows, reporting dashboards and internal financial tools where every amount has to be traceable. Criza builds it for finance teams and financial products that need reliable reconciliation and a clear audit trail. This describes an area we build for, not a list of past clients.
What we build for this sector
Payment and checkout systems
Card, wallet and subscription flows through a compliant provider, with refunds and payout records matching the ledger.
Financial dashboards
Revenue, fees, refunds and outstanding balances with a definition behind every figure and exports for finance.
Reconciliation automation
Scheduled jobs that match provider settlements to internal records and surface only the exceptions worth a human look.
Compliance-ready records
Immutable audit trails, role-based access and retention rules designed with your requirements in view.
What's included
- Idempotent payment handling
- Signed webhook verification
- Ledger with full audit history
- Role-based approvals
- Scheduled reconciliation reports
- Exception alerts when a sync fails
How long it takes and what it costs
How long does it take?
Depends on scope. You get a written milestone schedule with your quote, and a realistic estimate rather than one designed to win the job.
What does it cost?
Fixed quote after a free 30-minute call. The scope is written down first, including anything specific to your sector.
Common problems in this sector
Numbers that do not reconcile
The gateway, the ledger and the report each disagree, and resolving a single discrepancy takes an afternoon of exports.
Payments that fail quietly
Webhooks are missed, retries duplicate, and the first sign of trouble is a customer email.
Audit questions with no answer
Nobody can prove who changed a record, when, or why, which is exactly the question that gets asked later.
Where software helps most
One reconciled ledger
Every transaction stored once with its provider reference, so the dashboard and the accounts agree by construction.
Reliable payment plumbing
Idempotent handling, signed webhooks, retries with backoff and alerts when a state transition does not arrive.
Reporting people trust
Dashboards with defined metrics and visible definitions, so two teams stop quoting two different numbers.
Tools we typically use
- Node.js
- PostgreSQL
- Stripe
- React
- Webhooks
- Redis
Frequently asked questions
Do you handle card data directly?
No. Card details stay with a PCI-compliant provider such as Stripe; our systems store only tokens and references. This keeps the compliance boundary small and auditable.
Can you work with our bank or payment provider's API?
Where a documented API or file-based settlement report exists, yes. Where it does not, we will say so rather than build something that breaks silently later.
How do you test money flows?
Provider sandboxes for normal paths, plus deliberate fault injection for retries, duplicate webhooks and partial failures — the cases that cause real losses.
